# 15.5.0: Faster spec transitions and reliability fixes

ReleasedReleased on October 16, 2025

Cypress 15.5.0 cuts the time between specs by skipping a redundant storage reset, so your suites move faster. It also stops the error when your app overwrites `window.$`, prefers 64-bit browser installs, and returns exit code `112` when `cypress run --record --posix-exit-codes` can't determine the next spec.
