# Angular 22: Upgrade without leaving your component tests behind

Upgrade to Angular 22 and keep your component tests running with Cypress 16. Launchpad detects Angular 22 projects, and you can add Cypress through the `@cypress/schematic` Angular CLI integration. Zoneless is now the default in `cypress/angular`, so you no longer need `zone.js` to mount components.
